How the funding works

You pay 30%. We claim the rest.

When you order meals through your Support at Home plan, the cost is split in two. The only amount you pay upfront is 30% at the time of your order, we will invoice your funding provider for the rest.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Meal delivery sits under the Home and Community Services part of your Support at Home package. You pay about 30% directly to FoodSt at checkout, and the remaining service component is claimed from your package by your provider, you don’t pay that upfront.

You may be eligible if you have an approved Home Care Package or Support at Home plan and are plan-managed or self-managed. If you’re not sure, ask your care manager about your Home and Community Services allocation, or just get in touch and we’ll help you check.

Only about 30% of your order, paid at checkout like any online purchase. Everything else is charged to your package by your provider. Our cost calculatorshows your exact split in a couple of questions.

No problem at all. Tell us who they are in the setup form and we’ll reach out to add FoodSt as an approved meal supplier. In most cases the answer is yes, and it usually takes a quick phone call.

Handmade in small batches and frozen fresh, then delivered by cold-chain courier so they arrive safely frozen. Heat and eat whenever you’re ready, no cooking required.

No. Your meals are still fully covered under the new Support at Home program. If you transitioned before 1 November 2025, your existing arrangements are protected under the no-worse-off policy.
