Ayam Bakar with Mie Goreng

Ayam Bakar is an Indonesian charcoal-grilled chicken which is first marinated and then slowly simmered for hours until tender. The braised chicken is then finished off on an open top charcoal grill until fragrant and sightly charred, creating a depth of flavour which will bring you to the little corner "rumah makan" (translating to "eating home") on the busy streets of Indonesia. Once re-heated, squeeze a drizzle of fresh lime or kaffir lime on top and serve with the accompanying Hokkien noodles.

    Preparation:

    Step 1 - Defrost Overnight
    Step 2 - Transfer into Microwave safe container
    Step 2 - Microwave Medium - 5mins


    🍜 Best served with Hokkien Noodles (provided).

    Charcoal grilled chicken: Chicken marylands, onions, shallots, garlic, ground coriander, sweet soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, peanut butter.
    Hokkien noodles, carrots, cabbage, chicken thighs, de-shelled prawns, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, salt.
