Buttermilk Scones

Size Guide

These scones are simply the best scones I've ever made or had. They remind me of my mothers scones growing up but they are lighter and have a lovely texture that isn't too heavy. Delicious with jam and cream or just butter (not included). One serving = 12 scones.

Contains: Milk and Milk Products, Cereals containing gluten and their products including wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt

Ingredients: Self Raising Flour, caster sugar, sea salt, butter, buttermilk

Reheating Instructions: Defrost and break open - serve with Jam and Cream or your favourite topping (not included)

I always enjoyed helping out in the kitchen as a young girl and still love experiencing different types of food and flavours and experimenting to create something tasty. I love how food brings people together, can bring comfort and healing for our bodies and such pleasure to individuals and also crowds. 

My style is "home cooked meals with loads of flavour". I'm much more concerned with flavour in for instance a curry than heat. I love watching the amazing chefs like Heston and even though I don't attempt all he does I'm always learning tips and tricks from paying attention to methods.

As a guide:

Protein per serve = 150 - 200g 
Total Weight per serve = 300 - 400g
Anything less than these weights are tagged as "LIGHT MEALS"
