Manjari's Malai Kofta (Vg)

This is a rich and delicious vegetarian curry made with fresh ricotta dumplings. For this recipe, ricotta is marinated before being shaped and fried.

The rich gravy is cooked in a two-step process, first I pressure cook tomatoes with other spices, nuts, poppy seeds and then blend the mixture and simmer it with the ricotta balls.

I love ricotta personally and experiment with it to make sweet and savoury dishes. I hope you love this curry as much as I do.

    Reheating Instructions:
    1 - Defrost in microwave or fridge overnight
    2 - Remove lid and microwave until hot, approx 2-3 mins. Yes, you can microwave the foil container

Buy and buy again ❤️

This was soooo delicious that I had to try to fight off my two carnivore eaters (I’ve recently become vegetarian) but I didn’t succeed because it’s just so good. Those ricotta balls are so light….and the sauce, we could all eat that for days, YUMMO


This is a rich and beautiful dish, tastes like a special occasion. The spice level is mild, I add a bit of chilli. You can taste the layers of work that have gone into this dish. The ricotta is excellent. Thank you Manjari 💕

Bit spicy

This is more than a mild spice rating. The flavour and textures were lovely, just loses a star for being too spicy. I would rate this as a moderate level at least.
