Lemongrass Beef Sticks

If you visit Cambodia, you can easily find these small bite sized beef sticks in Cambodian night markets. Over the years many five star restaurants have included this meal on their menu. It's so fragrant, you can smell them from& a distance. This was something I always hoped for when I was young. Before my mum ran her own shop, we were in a very hard situation, we didn't always have meat on our dining table and every time I smelt the Lemongrass Beef Stick, my tummy started rumbling like crazy. As a child I was always telling myself, I had to earn more money to eat the Beef Stick everyday when I grew up, won't you believe it!!! Now I just want to share this memory with you.

  • Preparation:
    Step 1 - Defrost in fridge overnight
    Step 2 - Pan fry on medium heat (4mins each side)

    Ingredients:
    Beef, lemongrass, garlic, galangal, kaffir lime leaf, turmeric, olive oil, palm sugar, salt, soy

    Contains: Tree nuts and tree nut products other than coconut from the fruit of the palm, Fish and fish products (eg fish sauce)

A Hit !

tender beef, lovely flavours and that sauce-wow!
Cooked over charcoal and served with a simple asian salad and Jasmine rice-a hit!
