2 Ingredient Flat Bread

Soft & Fluffy 2-Ingredient Flatbread

The easiest side you'll ever make – perfect with curries, soups, dips & more

There’s something magical about warm, soft flatbread fresh off the pan. It’s the kind of simple joy that turns a good meal into a great one — and the best part? You only need two ingredients (yes, really).

Whether you're mopping up curry sauce, layering a wrap, or dipping into hummus, this 2-ingredient flatbread is the perfect last-minute addition to any meal — especially with your favourite handmade dishes from the FoodSt collection.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup self-raising flour (Substitute with plain flour + 2 tsp baking powder)

  • 1 cup plain Greek yoghurt (full-fat works best)

Optional add-ins:

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1 tsp olive oil or melted butter (for extra softness)

  • Chopped garlic or herbs (if you’re feeling fancy)

Method

  1. Mix the dough -In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour and Greek yoghurt. Mix with a spoon or your hands until a rough dough forms. It should be soft but not too sticky — add a little more flour if needed.
  2. Divide and roll -Divide the dough into 6 balls. Roll each one into a thin round, about 3mm thick - You'll need some extra flour to roll these out.
  3. Cook on a hot pan -Heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each flatbread for 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown spots appear and it puffs up slightly.
  4. Serve warm -Brush with a little melted butter, sprinkle with herbs, or just serve as-is!
