A Slow Cooked, Creamy Dahl Makhani - Made with Love by Sai
This rich, creamy vegetarian curry by Sai, is made the way it’s been done in Punjabi kitchen's for generations... with black gram lentils and red kidney beans simmered slowly until they’re soft, tender, and full of flavour. Sai cooks each batch with fragrant spices, ripe tomatoes, a touch of butter, and cream, letting the flavours develop naturally so you get that signature velvety texture. It’s rich, wholesome, and feels just like something you’d be served at Sai's family table.
Sai balances the earthiness of the the lentils with the warmth of spices like cumin, coriander, and garam masala. All you need to do is heat it gently and serve it with fluffy basmati rice, warm naan, or roti for a delicious and authentic vegetarian meal at home.
"I make my Dal Makhani based on black gram, a high source of protein and red kidney beans, this dish is further enhanced with rich cream and slow cooked with a blend of spices." Sai

Cooking meals is more than just pleasing the taste buds for me, it’s a project I endeavour where every dish is meticulously crafted for complete nutritional balance and gut-friendly digestion.
Inspired by my Grandfather, a great cook whose legacy goes beyond just cooking; it's about bringing joy to others through food. He used to tell me that his only goal was to see a satisfactory smile on every person eating his meal. He is the inspiration behind my cooking journey.
With a desire to alleviate the struggles faced by my loved ones battling acid reflux and diabetes, I focused on creating a healthy cooking style that doesn't compromise on taste. With each dish, I started developing recipes that are both flavourful and diet-friendly.
