Sugandha's Onion Bhaji Fritters (V)

Title: Serves 2

Street food flavour, homemade with care by Sugandha

Crispy, spiced, and full of flavour, Sugandha’s Onion Bhaji is everything you love about Indian street food, handmade just like her family has always done. Each fritter is crafted with thinly sliced onions and a fragrant blend of cumin, coriander, and carom seeds, then gently folded into a chickpea flour batter and fried to golden perfection.

Sugandha makes every batch just as she would at home, no shortcuts, no preservatives, and no compromise on flavour. These bhajis are vegan, naturally gluten-free, and come frozen so you can enjoy the real taste of Indian home cooking in minutes. Perfect as a snack, a starter, or a crowd-pleaser with your next curry night.

Served with her mint chutney or a yoghurt-based dip, all you'll need to do is reheat and enjoy!

This delicious snack has been the tea time favourite of my family and a go-to snack when we welcome guests into our home” – Sugandha

FAQ's

Sugandha’s recipe has been passed down through her family, using traditional Indian spices and chickpea flour (besan). They’re handmade in small batches with no additives, no shortcuts... just the real deal.

Definitely. These make a brilliant starter or finger food for entertaining, just heat and serve with your favourite chutney or dip. They’re quick, easy, and always a hit.

They’re mildly spiced, more fragrant than hot, so they’re great for a wide range of palates. If you love extra heat, try them with a hot chutney or chilli sauce.

I found this flavoursome and delicious. I’ve ordered it twice over so far, as it’s so tasty. The paratha was soft, flaky and delicious and the filling was spicy and scrumptious. I really enjoyed this. The size is quite small, so it makes for a good filling snack, but not a main meal as I’d originally thought. Thank you, Sugandha. I will order again for a special treat. It’s delicious!

    Hi Amrita

Thank you for your feedback and your valuable feedback about the size of the roll. That's a good point, the size of the roll is like a typical street food which is not a full sized meal but probably bigger than a snack. I'm so happy to hear you loved the flavours and the paratha, which is handmade by Sugandha with Sweet Potato Flour. So happy to hear you enjoyed it.
