Indian Comfort Food with a Twist, Spicy Sabudana for Any Time of Day
Sai’s sabudana is made with chewy tapioca pearls, tender potatoes, crunchy nuts, and aromatic spices, a dish often prepared during Hindu fasting periods and loved across India for its flavour and energy-giving qualities.
What makes it special is the balance: the tapioca pearls provide quick, sustaining energy, while peanuts and cashews add satisfying crunch and long-lasting fuel. Curry leaves, cumin, and green chillies bring warmth and depth, turning this simple fasting food into something nourishing and delicious. Light enough for breakfast, hearty enough for dinner, this is comfort food that works any time of day.

Cooking meals is more than just pleasing the taste buds for me, it’s a project I endeavour where every dish is meticulously crafted for complete nutritional balance and gut-friendly digestion.
Inspired by my Grandfather, a great cook whose legacy goes beyond just cooking; it's about bringing joy to others through food. He used to tell me that his only goal was to see a satisfactory smile on every person eating his meal. He is the inspiration behind my cooking journey.
