Bec
Bec’s cooking is shaped by both professional training and personal heritage, bringing together her background in food science, technology, and food safety with the flavours of her Korean and Vietnamese roots, alongside influences from her Australian-Irish family. This combination allows her to approach each dish with a balance of technical skill and cultural authenticity, ensuring that every meal is thoughtfully prepared while staying true to traditional techniques.
For Bec, food is more than nourishment, it’s a way to connect people and create meaningful experiences. She places strong importance on preserving authentic recipes, respecting the methods and flavours that define them, while also making her meals are nutritionally balanced and satisfying. This perspective is reflected in the care she brings to each dish, where every element is carefully incorporated to honour what each recipe means to her and others in the community.
Her passion for cooking extends beyond the kitchen into the way she shares food with others. Known for regularly hosting gatherings, Bec creates meals that are designed to bring people together, whether for a casual dinner or a larger celebration. This sense of hospitality carries through to her dishes on FoodSt, where customers can experience the same warmth and attention to detail that define her cooking at home.
As a result, her menu reflects both her heritage and her values, featuring dishes such as her japchae, kimchi fried rice, traditional Vietnamese chicken pho, and beef bulgogi with rice.

Davide
Davide brings Italian culinary tradition to every dish he prepares, shaped by his upbringing in Venice and refined through years of professional experience in some of the world’s most respected kitchens. While his formal training has given him a strong technical foundation, he credits much of his cooking philosophy to the time spent learning alongside his mother and grandmother, where the importance of patience, simplicity, and quality ingredients was instilled from an early age.
His approach to food is grounded in authenticity, with a focus on traditional Italian techniques that allow each ingredient to speak for itself. Whether he is preparing his Classic Italian Lasagne, Mushroom, Spinach and Smoked Mozzarella Arancini or his Gnocchi Ragu Bolognese, Davide’s cooking reflects a deep respect for heritage and a commitment to preserving the flavours and methods that define Italian cuisine.
Beyond savoury dishes, Davide is also an accomplished gelato maker, producing award-winning gelati and sorbetti using carefully sourced ingredients from Italy and around the world. By selecting premium elements such as Sicilian pistachios, hazelnuts, and high-quality chocolate, and crafting each batch from scratch, he ensures a product that is both natural and true to traditional Italian gelato-making techniques.

Umesh
Umesh’s cooking is rooted in a lifelong passion shaped by family, culture, and curiosity. Growing up, he was deeply influenced by his mother, an award-winning cook in India, whose dedication to food and flavour left a lasting impression. As a teenager, he would type out her recipes for magazine competitions, gaining early exposure to the structure and detail behind great cooking.
Since then, Umesh has approached cooking as both a creative outlet and a continuous learning experience. While his foundation lies in Indian cuisine, his interests extend across a wide range of culinary styles, including Asian, Mediterranean, and Italian influences. Inspired by chefs such as Jamie Oliver, he enjoys experimenting with flavours and techniques, often adapting familiar dishes into something new. His philosophy is centred on simplicity and creativity, by working with what’s available and trusting instinct to guide the process rather than relying strictly on recipes.
Although Umesh formally studied hospitality, his career eventually moved into IT within the same industry, leaving his passion for cooking largely expressed at home. FoodSt provides him with the opportunity to reconnect with that passion and share it more widely, bringing his dishes into the homes of others. His menu reflects both tradition and versatility, featuring meals such as his popular Chicken Biryani, Mughlai Chicken Curry, and his vegetarian Palak Paneer, all prepared with the same care and enthusiasm that first inspired him to cook.
