Quiche Lorraine is a recipe Davide picked up back in chef school, and it's never once lost its shine. "I never get sick of making them, or eating them," Davide says, and it's easy to see why. Crisp, all-butter pastry holds a rich custard of egg, thickened cream and parmesan, studded with rindless bacon and a layer of tasty cheese. It's the kind of combination that works every single time, bacon and eggs in any shape, always a winner.

Each quiche is handmade in small batches and freshly frozen, ready for the oven whenever you need it. Bake it straight from frozen and it's on the table in about ten minutes, on its own or with a simple side of fresh salad. No fuss, just a proper slice of something classic.

Preparation Instructions
  1. Defrost in the fridge overnight or alternatively on low in the microwave
  2. Preheat oven to 180C
  3. Bake quiche for 10 minutes

Alternatively, defrost and place in an airfryer on 200C for 5 minutes.

The Lorraine style is the classic French version, built on the combination of egg custard, cream and bacon (traditionally lardons), baked into a butter pastry case. No onion-heavy fillings or extra vegetables here, just the original pairing done properly, which is exactly why it's stayed popular for so long.
