Christina's Lemongrass Pork & Chicken Rice

"This dish is another popular Peranakan dish which is often served during Chinese New Year celebration. We called this dish “Sek Bak” in Chinese and it’s pork braised in aromatic spices like lemongrass, galangal and cinnamon. This dish is also very popular among young children as it has sweet flavours from the caramelised onions and palm sugar. We took this traditional dish to another level by serving it with our homemade chicken flavoured rice that has been infused with ginger and sesame oil making it a flavourful rice."

This is the perfect complete meal for one.

    Preparation:

    Step 1 - Defrost first in microwave or overnight in your fridge

    Step 2 - Microwave until heated through (approx 2-3 mins)

    Our foil containers are microwave safe!
