Richard's Cottage Pie with Cheesy/Sweet Mash

Traditional Cottage Pie made with lean beef mince, kyogle garlic, carrots and peas with a rich tomato and beef sauce flavoured with bay leaves and Italian herbs and a splash of red wine, topped with a cheesy white and sweet potato mash. This is a mixture and my Mums 'Hand Me Down' recipe with my own twist of herbs and a splash of wine to add flavour and a tasty mash topping. Delicious on its own or with salad or crusty French bread to mop up the sauce.

  • Preparation:
    Step 1 - Defrost in fridge overnight
    Step 2 - Preheat Oven 180°C
    Step 3 - Remove lid, cover with foil
    Step 4 - Bake 25mins until golden

    🥗 Best served with a crisp green salad

    Ingredients:
    Minced Beef, Garlic, Carrots, Peas, Beef Stock, Tomato Soup, Italian Herbs, Red wine, Bay Leaf, Worcestershire Sauce, Golden Cream and Sweet Potato, Tasty Cheese.

    Contains: Milk or milk products, Gluten

The perfect comfort food dish.

I loved this dish. High quality clean food and so easy to prepare. Generous portion size so I did not need to add anything to it. Would definitely order again.
