The dough is made using a 48-hour fermentation process, creating light, airy bubbles in the crust and a complex flavour that’s impossible to replicate with shortcuts. Each pizza is topped with crushed tomato sauce, creamy fresh mozzarella, and fragrant basil – the timeless trio that defines a true Neapolitan margherita.

Preparation Instructions

Step 1 - Preheat your oven to 250°C or the highest temperature your oven can reach

Step 2 - Place a metal tray or pizza stone in the oven to heat up while the oven preheats.

Step 3 - Remove the pizza from the plastic and place on a board or surface, slide onto the preheated oven tray.

Step 4 - Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden with the cheese bubbly and slightly browned. We suggest spinning the pizza 180 degrees halfway through baking to ensure it bakes evenly.

Hi, I'm Simone

I grew up in a small medieval hilltop village in Tuscany. My mother is from Sardinia, so I also have a big family there and feel blessed to be of both origins. The Sardinian culture is very rich in tradition, art and folklore as well as cooking. One of the Blue zones of centenaries is there.

Tuscany is rich in art, music, community, and food as well.My mother is a great cook, and my Sardinian family has been involved in hospitality for many years and I remember going to this big kitchens, cool rooms, waiting sections and back of the bar to visit my relatives running a famous golf course resort in South Sardinia

I always considered myself to be a good cook, creating traditional Tuscan regional dishes using single ingredients.I really became passionate about pizza making 25 years ago once I left Italy. In Italy there are many ways of pizza formats, so I never felt the need to make it. I could eat any meal of the day.

Keep frozen for up to 2 months from purchase, once thawed keep refrigerated and serve within 48 hours.

FAQ's

The long, slow fermentation allows natural enzymes to develop flavour and texture in the dough. It creates a slightly tangy depth, those signature airy bubbles, and a crust that’s chewy yet light. It also makes the dough easier to digest compared to quick-rise pizza bases. This is what separates an artisan pizza from mass-produced versions.

For authentic results, preheat your oven as hot as it will go (around 250°C) with a tray or pizza stone inside. Slide the pizza onto the hot surface and bake for 10–15 minutes until the crust is golden and the mozzarella is bubbling. Spinning the pizza halfway through ensures an even cook, giving you that fresh-from-the-pizzeria taste and texture.

Absolutely! The margherita is a perfect base if you’d like to make it your own. You can add extras like olives, prosciutto, mushrooms, or fresh rocket after baking for a personal twist. Just be careful not to overload it with too many toppings before cooking, as this can prevent the crust from crisping properly.

    We enjoyed this pizza but added a little mozzarella cheese. We followed directions but have a new fan forced oven which was just too hot. We will order again and be more careful about over cooking.

    Pleasantly Surprised

    Pizza is my favourite junk food & i am quite picky when it comes to pizza. I only bought it because it is vegetarian not expecting much.Yes it would be nice to have a few more veggie ingredients on it but the taste is really good, like a home made pizza.
