Rebecca has taken the humble sausage roll and given it a proper gourmet makeover. These golden puff pastry rolls are filled with juicy beef mince, smoky bacon, tangy BBQ sauce, sharp cheddar cheese, and a touch of zucchini and herbs for extra flavour and moisture. Topped with black sesame seeds, they bake up flaky on the outside and irresistibly cheesy, smoky, and hearty on the inside.

Unlike the bland, filler-heavy versions from supermarkets, Rebecca’s rolls are generous, wholesome, and packed with quality ingredients you can see and taste. Ready straight from the freezer in just 15–20 minutes, they’re the ultimate crowd-pleaser: perfect for entertaining, feeding hungry teens, or sneaking into lunch boxes.

    Cook from frozen  (don't defrost)
    Step 1 - Preheat your oven to 180C 
    Step 2 - Place on a tray and bake 15 to 20mins
    Step 3 - Allow 2-3mins to cool before serving

    AIR FRYER: 15 minutes at 180C

Hi, I'm Rebecca,

I was a chef and cook in a life before my children and I have always enjoyed cooking and exploring different cuisines. I started making sausage rolls with meals as fillings to get my children to enjoy food as much as I do, and they were a hit with school lunches too. I later found out that they were valuable school currency and one sausage roll would get them three pieces of cake. Ultimately they became such a hit that I started to get requests for parties, school events, and other children's lunch boxes. I love the research and refinement that goes into creating recipes from scratch. I constantly strive to get my flavours perfect using techniques I learned as a chef, on my travels, and in the many cookbooks I collect.

    Very tasty. Served with rice, sour cream and salad feeding four for lunch.

    When chili was defrosted I transferred it to a pan on a very low heat. It heats better.

    At 74, it is so convenient to have lovely food with little effort. PS I do own up as to who cooked it though Rebecca!
