"I marinate the beef, overnight, in red wine to lock in the rich wine flavours. It is then slow-cooked for about 2 1/2 hours in the wine but with lots of goodies, including mushrooms, carrot, speck and broth. Served with buttery mash, it's a classic French dish, that you will find in many bistros throughout France!"

  Preparation:

  1 - Defrost first (either in the microwave or fridge overnight)

  2 - Reheat in the microwave 4-6 minutes or until heated through (our foil containers are microwave safe!)

  🥖 Best served with crusty bread

  Ingredients: Beef, carrots, onion, red wine (sulphites), beef stock, oil, pepper, salt, mushrooms, speck, garlic, tomato paste, flour (gluten), potatoes, butter (milk).

• I've loved cooking since I was old enough to remember. My mother was a very good cook and I just hung around the kitchen learning how to do things. Whilst cooking styles have certainly changed since those time, the basics haven't, and one of the most important 'ingredients' is time (not thyme!). Having time to cook something well and not cut corners will always deliver the best results, and that's what I'm all about, serving up the best and tastiest meal possible!
