Syeda's Beef Keema

 

Keema is a homely, heartwarming comfort food that is eaten in many households in India and it's neighbouring regions. Made from ground meat, typically beef, lamb or goat that has been tenderised with yoghurt and beautifully flavoured with a mix of aromatic spices, it's perfect eaten in a roti or with naan bread, or with rice and a fried egg on top.

This is Syeda's family recipe, that has been passed down through generations, as many keema recipes are!  This version is made with beef and utterly delicious. You'll be transported to her family table with this wonderful recipe.

    🌶 This is mildly spicy

    Preparation:

    Step 1 - Defrost overnight in your fridge or microwave

    Step 2 - Microwave until heated through (about 4mins)

    🍚 Best served with a rice or naan (Get yours here)

    Ingredients: Minced Beef, onion, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, green chillies, yogurt, vegetable oil, coriander, salt, keema masala spice (Coriander, Red Chilli, Paprika, Salt, Onion, Turmeric, Ginger, Black Pepper, Cumin, Cinnamon, Clove, Green Cardamom, Bay Leaves, Garlic, Brown Cardamom, Maltodextrin, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Sugar, Canola Oil, Silicon Dioxide)
