Manjari's Palak Daal (V)

My Palak Daal is an earthy, healthy and tasty meal that will leave you feeling good on the inside. Lentils are boiled with turmeric and then slow cooked with garlic, spinach and spices.

I am constantly searching for good recipes, I write down the ones which I really like and improvise while cooking it. I have made my own cook- book in the process. This Spinach Daal is one such recipe which is loved by my family and a comfort food.

    • 🍴 Serves 2

      Preparation:
      Step 1 - Defrost in microwave or fridge overnight
      Step 2 - Decant and microwave until hot (approx 5-8 mins) or reheat on the stovetop (being careful not to boil)

      🍚 Best served with Rice (get yours here) or Naan (get yours here)

      🌶 This curry has a mild spice rating

      Ingredients: Mixed lentils, spinach, butter, ghee, cumin seeds, asafoetida, ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion, tomatoes, coriander and cumin powder, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander, lemon juice
