Amalia's Hortobágyi (Hungarian Savoury Crepes)

Title: Serves 1

Experience a classic Hungarian dish of Amalia's Hortobágyi, savoury crepes filled with free-range chicken and homemade paprika sauce. Prepared with a sourdough base for optimal gut health, these delicious crepes are a tasty treat that the whole family will love.

I have been eating this dish since I was a kid. My grandmother made it for us when we had chicken paprikash and we had leftover chicken. She was a wizard in the kitchen. She whisked up some cepes and filled it with the chicken and voila, we had a new dish that tasted even better than the original.

    Preparation:

Place frozen meal into the oven at 190 degrees for 25 mins or until top is golden brown. Approx. 15-20 mins

Alternatively, defrost first and heat in the microwave for approx. 4-5 mins or in a pot on the stove until heated through ensuring it doesn't stick to the bottom, so shake the pot from time to time. Do not stir as it can break the rolls.

🥖 Best served with a dollop of sour cream or natural Greek yogurt

Ingredients: Flour (wheat), free-range chicken, onion, tomatoes, capsicum, spices, salt and pepper, olive oil, milk
