Maurice's Ready Made Lasagne

A delicious and perfectly balanced combination of Beef and Pork mince a rich Napolitana sauce infused with herbs, layered between pasta sheets and topped with a creamy and silky béchamel sauce. This recipe has been in our family for generations. I first remember eating it when I was just a little boy, my Grandmother had made it and was feeding it to me. It has always made me feel warm and secure and happy.

** Maurice's Lasagne has a thick layer of bechamel sauce, made in the same way that his Grandmother made for him.

• Preparation (Cook from frozen):

  Step 1 - Preheat Oven 180°C
  Step 2 - Remove Lid, cover with Foil
  Step 3 - Bake 50 mins (single) to 85 mins (family)

  Let rest 10-15 minutes before serving
  
  🥗 Best served with fresh and crisp green salad

• Hi, I'm Maurice!

  My love affair with food and cooking started at the tender age of 8. I just loved watching my mother cook for the family, no matter what the dish or meal, sweet or savoury, breakfast lunch or dinner. I realised very early that I loved to identify the different flavours in each dish and what they brought to the dish and what if anything was lacking or overpowering. I remember feeling so proud that all the recipes that my Mother used were her Mothers recipes. I just love that.
