Nasheet's Shaami Kebab (x6, H)

Deeply flavourful, melt-in-the-mouth beef patties made with yellow split lentils, herbs, and a special spice mix.

There are so many variations to this dish but my go-to recipe has always been the one I grew up eating in Hyderabad, India which I am excited to share with you today. I remember how the cooked meat would be ground with spices on a massive stone block with a large rolling pin made of stone too. My cousins and I would sit in a close circle next to the block while an aunt or our grandma prepared the mix, ready to pick on the soft and delectable dough which was equally delicious before being shaped and fried into patties.

Delicious 😋

These shammi kebabs are a tasty treat for an entree or a meal. They are perfectly spicy but not hot and match well with veggies and plain yoghurt or raita.

Scrumptious and filling

I wanted to order it for quite sometime but "very spicy" in the description stopped me from doing that. Eventually I tried them at a mate's and was surprised that they were not "very spicy" at all. Right combination of meat and masalas. Loved the texture and flufiness after warming them up. Worked best for me in a roll with green mint sauce. My partner liked them better with ketchup, though. Quite filling as well. Good enough for 3 people.

Tasty surprise

These were a bit of a surprise as the look of them frozen wasn’t wonderful but… . So tasty and rich in flavor. They had been in the feeezer a while as I wasn’t sure what to serve them with. I checked and so salad and garlic yoghurt dip. Delicious. Thank you.
