Davide's Chicken & Chorizo Paella

"It started with helping a Spanish friend opening a paella business 10 years ago and I ended up with falling in love with this dish!"

This famous Spanish rice dish, known for its  Socarrat (the crispy rice crust when cooked) has been recreated beautifully by Davide. Made with a mix of vegetables, chicken and chorizo, you will love the flavours and the crispy rice base which you can easily recreate at home by frying in a pan, instructions are provided below.

  Reheating Instructions:

  Step 1 - Defrost overnight or in microwave

  Step 2 - Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat, pour in the rice and spread evenly over the pan. Without moving, let the rice heat and cook on the bottom forming the socarrat (crispy crust).

  🍋 Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice

  Ingredients: Capsicum, zucchini, onion, garlic, chicken, chorizo, rice, passata, peas, corn, wine (sulphites), vegetable stock, olive oil.
