Christina's Nyonya Sambal Prawns & Rice

"I grew up eating sambal almost every day, as we have it as a condiment with every meal. There are many types of sambal, and my version is my mother's Nyonya sambal recipe."

This is a mouthwatering Malaysian chilli prawn dish with rich spices and fresh ingredients. It's sweet and spicy with a touch of tang from the tamarind, a perfect meal for one that comes with jasmine rice on the side.

  • 🍴 Single Serve - Sambal Prawns with Jasmine rice

    Preparation:

    Step 1 - Defrost first in microwave or overnight in your fridge

    Step 2 - Microwave until heated through (approx 2-3 mins)

    Our foil containers are microwave safe!
