These beautiful homemade vegetarian (vegan) dumplings are lovingly made with completely hand-made pastry, chinese cabbage, shiitake mushroom, black fungus mushroom, carrot, coriander, garlic and seasonings.
These are the perfect "I forgot dinner" life saver as you can cook them straight from frozen and serve with rice or vegetables for a satisfying, healthy and delicious meal (rice and vegetables not included).
1. By boiling: in a pot of boiling water add the frozen dumplings, high heat, when the Dumpling is boiling add one cup of cold water (prevents Dumpling from breaking) and it's ready when the Dumpling's boil again for a few mins.
2. By pan frying: heat up your pan, add some oil then add Dumpling plus a cup of water, close the lid until all the water is dry and the Dumpling has turned golden brown and crispy.
3. Steaming: In steamer or steam oven, lay the frozen dumplings on baking paper or an oiled tray and steam for 15-20 minutes.

Hi, I'm Iris. I'm originally from Cambodia. My first memory of connecting with food was when I was little and my mum was always busy in her shop, so she left the house work and cooking to me. As the eldest child in the family, I had to learn to cook and did the shopping as guided by mum. I remember I learnt to cook my first curry chicken when I was just 12 years old. At first, I wasn't sure that I loved cooking because it was like a duty to me. Cooking really inspired me when I had my own kids. I'm a mum of three and my husband and kids love my food, this has inspired me the most and allows me to learn more about different foods and always cook with love.
I learnt to make the real Chinese dumpling pastry from my mother in law and this is now the all time food for my family because they absolutely love it and the best things is we can pre-make them and keep them in the freezer.
