These sweet diced pork Asian spice marinated skewers are cooked on an open top charcoal grill until fragrant and charred. These skewers come with a semi-raw super fresh and vibrant Balinese (spicy) sambal that goes superbly well with the pork skewers! The is a family traditional recipe that kept close to her heart. These pork skewers are a family favourite particularly because they are convenient and nutritious for large families! A convenient, no-mess, nutritious and importantly delicious meal.
Cooking just puts me in the best mood. Almost always when I’m in the kitchen I’ll have 70s music playing in the background – “Oh, What a Night” never gets old! Cooking is important to me because it is therapeutic. Nothing works as a better stress-reliever and nothing is more therapeutic than getting in the kitchen and cooking good wholesome food. I love cooking because absolutely nothing makes me happier than feeding my loved ones and seeing people enjoy my cooking.
Loved the flavours of the pork skewers even without the sauce. Would love it more if there the MSG was omitted from the sauce.
Sweet Pork Skewers with Balinese Raw Sambal
Pork skewers were tender and full of flavour. The sweet flavour of the skewers were perfectly accompanied by the tangy and citrusy fresh sambal, I’ve never thought of having lemon grass like that! Definitely a favourite 😍
