Pumpkin & Potato Empanadas (x3, V)

The most classic Chilean Empanadas you can find. Filled with delicious pumpkin curry, potatoes and red capsicum! I make my own handmade pastry and all the delicious fillings from scratch. These Chilean empanadas are made from a traditional recipe that had been mastered over the years an original family recipe.

  • 🍴 3x Empanadas per serving (300g)

    Preparation (Cook from frozen)
    Step 1 - Preheat Oven 180°C
    Step 2 - Brush the empanadas with egg yolk*
    Step 3 - Bake on a tray 35-40mins

    *Pantry Essentials:
    🥚 Optional - Egg yolk to brush on empanadas.

    🥗 Best served with a crisp green salad.

    Ingredients: Pumpkin, Potato, Garlic, Onion, Red Capsicum, Olives, Oregano, Curry (Cumin, Turmeric), Flour, Olive Oil, Salt, Water.

    Contains: Gluten and their products including wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, Garlic.

So delicious!

My first dish tried from my first Food St order. These empanadas are utterly delicious! I had hoped for a slightly more tangy filling, given the mention of red capsicum and olives, but regardless of that, they were still very tasty. I followed the suggestion of a crisp green salad to accompany (which was a bit sad in comparison to the quality of the empanadas), yet it was one of the loveliest meals I've had in a while. I will definitely be adding these, or other empanadas flavours, to future orders.
