Peruvian Lomo Saltado

Serving Sizes

Fresh, juicy eye fillet steak is marinaded and cooked with cumin, garlic, tomatoes, green shallots, onions and the rare yellow chilli. It is then served with fat potato fries and rice. The yellow chilli, cumin and shallots give this dish its signature and addictive taste. If you've tried Lomo Saltado you would know what we mean, if you haven't tried it we suggest you do!

We use Eye-Fillet Steak because it is the best cut for this type of dish. The meat is seared and still a little pink inside so its juicy and tender.
