This dish is the ultimate in Persian cuisine! Also known as Zereshk Polo Ba Morgh, this gorgeously coloured meal is a favourite at celebrations in Iran. Festive rice is steamed and layered with a mixture of red zereshk or barberries and golden fried onions, then garnished with almonds and/or pistachios and served with delicious chicken.
To reheat: Defrost either overnight in the refrigerator or by using the defrost function on your microwave. Then reheat in the microwave until piping hot throughout.
