Beef & Cheese Maznik

Maznik is a traditional Bosnian Pastry made out of a thin pastry, filled with different combinations of fillings and then rolled into a beautiful swirl. It takes a lot of skill to make and I make everything from scratch the traditional way. I have been making Maznik since I was 11 years old and I just love to be in the kitchen. This is my Grandmother's recipe, my Grandmother is Bosnian/Turkish and this is her family's way of making Maznik.

  • 🍴 1x Maznik per serving (250g)

    Preparation:
    Step 1 - Defrost in fridge overnight
    Step 2 - Preheat Oven 180°C
    Step 3 - Bake 35mins

    Pantry Essentials:
    🥚 Egg Yolk to brush (optional)
    🥗 Best served with a crisp salad and tomato chutney

    Ingredients: flour, salt, water, beef, cheese, onion, seasoning

    Contains: Gluten from wheat flour, milk and milk
