A delicious compliment to any meal, this versatile bread is good as a starter to a meal or as a way to help you end the meal by helping you get every last bit of sauce! We needed something to help us sop up all the left over bolognese. I decided to attempt bread making and decided to master the simple focaccia. So far so good! Different herbs and a hint of garlic make it a versatile recipe to know.

About your cook, Erika (Beacon Hill)
I have loved food every since I was a young girl. My mother had a tendency to always make delicious food and it made me want to be a food critic of all things. I think I thought it would be the fastest way to taste even more amazing food. As I grew older I realized that I wanted to create great food memories for others and began a career in the hospitality world shortly after university. I'm an American with a Spanish background, French training, and living in Australia. It's safe to say, I love pulling from different cuisines and bringing them all together. I enjoy cooking seasonally with lots of fresh herbs. Cooking is a way of bringing people together and I love the magic behind a good meal. I started out in the corporate banking world and quickly realized that it wasn't for me. I reassessed what it was I needed to do in life and decided to go to culinary school. It's not easy changing careers, but I've enjoyed every second of it and have not had single regret. I love the mission statement that FoodSt is aiming to achieve. In a day and age of digital overload, sitting around the dinner table with a delicious meal is a great way to reconnect with loved ones and reset ourselves.
