French Apple Pies

These little apple pies are made with puff pastry and a homemade apple compote. Fresh apples are diced and cooked over low heat with lemon, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sugar. The pies are then shaped and garnished with the delicious compote. 

French apple pies remind me my childhood. My mum used to put some for morning tea, afternoon tea, parties,... Crispy outside with soft apple deliciousness on the inside. It is a classic of French pastries. Even better when you eat it warm! Yum. BON APPÉTIT !

  • Contains: Eggs, tree nuts and tree nut products other than coconut from the fruit of the palm, gluten products, milk and milk products

     

    Ingredients: Apples, butter, lemon, sugar, cinnamon, natural vanilla extract, puff pastry (wheat four)

    Reheating: Do not defrost. French pies must be cooked in the oven from frozen. Preheat the oven to 200°, bake the pies for 15-20 min at 180° until they are golden and enjoy!
