Feijoada, Brazilian Black Beans with Beef Fillet & Chorizo

This is my version of a traditional Brazilian black bean stew that maintains the rich smoky, flavours famous in Brazil. This is an excellent dish served over rice and is traditionally served with it's perfect accompaniment of oranges or  in many grocery shops in Australia (not included). This is the national dish of Brazil! Most families in Brazil have feijoada several times a week and it couldn't be different in our family. I wish you will enjoy it as much as we do!

So nice you won’t want to stop eating it.

Helen, I thoroughly enjoyed this dish; my very first meal from Food Street! To be constructive, some of the beef strips were a bit extra chewy, and for my personal taste it lacked a bit extra kick that I normally enjoy from chilli . But don’t take that a a criticism - this dish was wonderful. I just had trouble with the pronunciation of feijoada - I guess you gathered by now I’m not Brazilian, and I believe that this is my first Brazilian meal. I’ll be back!

It was lovely but needed a few more spices
