Manu's Moroccan Chicken Tajine with Couscous

I have always loved the colour, spices and flavours of North Africa, it inspired me to travel the world through food and this recipe in particular has become a regular family favourite. I’m happy to be making chicken interesting again, and to bring a taste of Morocco to Australia.

  • 🍴 This meal serves 2 Adults (includes Moroccan Chicken Tajine and Couscous)

    Preparation:

    Tajine: 
    Step 1: Defrost in the microwave or in the fridge overnight
    Step 2: Reheat in the microwave or on the stove until heated through (approx 5 mins)

    Couscous:
    Step 1 - Defrost in microwave or fridge overnight
    Step 2 - Sprinkle a little water on top
    Step 3 - Microwave until hot (approx 4mins)

  • Ingredients:

    Chicken, Onions, Dried apricots, Dates, Olive Oil, Garlic, Salt, Coriander, White pepper [Pepper], Turmeric, Coriander seeds [Ground Coriander], Cumin seeds [Ground Cumin], Ground ginger, Paprika, Cayenne pepper

  • Water, Couscous (Wheat), Unsalted butter [Butter (MILK)], Parsley, Salt
