Hungarian Chicken Paprikash with Butter Potatoes and Cucumber Pickle

This is a very old and traditional Hungarian dish I have learned from my grandmother.

Chicken Paprikash is a humble, comforting, stew-like dish with a focus on paprika for seasoning. It was considered as a peasant dish in Hungary where paprika was imported to grow locally. It pairs perfectly with the butter potatoes and the cucumber pickle.

  • 🍴 Double Serve

    Preparation:
    Step 1 - Defrost overnight in your fridge
    Step 2 - Take out cucumber pickle container (do not heat)
    Step 3 - Microwave Chicken & potatoes until heated through (approx 4mins)

    💡 Tip: The cucumber pickle is designed to cleanse your palate. Eat a tiny piece of pickle between bites for a refreshing flavour.

    Ingredients: 
    Chicken Paprikash: Smoked ham, Chicken thighs, Onion, Garlic Clove, Caraway Seeds, Green Capsicum, Tomato, (Hungarian) Sweet Paprika powder, Sea salt, Pepper, Parsley, Vegetable Oil, Water.
    Butter Potatoes: Potatoes, Nutmeg powder, Butter, Salt and pepper, Chopped parsley
    Cucumber Pickle: Cucumber, White Vinegar, Raw sugar, Garlic Clove, Salt

    Contains: Milk and Milk Products, Soybeans and soybean products
    Other allergens: Phytosterols, phytostanols or their esters
