These beautiful baguettes are a delicious improvement on the classic cheese and bacon roll.
My flambé baguettes are prepared with fresh bread, cream cheese and seasoning. I finely cut onions and smoked bacon, then I layer the baguette with cream cheese, onions, bacon and shredded cheese. Everything is freshly prepared. It only remains to put in the oven to brown the bacon and enjoy it with a good green salad!
This specialty from the North East of France is one of my family's favourite dishes. I admit that I cannot resist eating this meal and my mouth waters just thinking about it! As a good French citizen, I love the crispy bread the most. An original way to please kids and adults as well! Happy to share with you. BON APPÉTIT !
Reheating: Do not defrost. Baguettes must be cooked in the oven from frozen.Preheat the oven to 200°, bake the Baguettes for 10-15 min until the cheese has melted and enjoy them! Be careful not to burn the bread - all ovens are different so keep an eye on them. Enjoy!
