Beef Empanadas (x3)

These Chilean Empanadas are perfectly crafted, I make my own handmade pastry and all the delicious fillings from scratch. I perfected this recipe when I was working at the Shangri-La hotel. My Chef de Cuisine was Chilean and he taught me how to make these original Chilean Empanadas. It's a really special recipe!

  • 🍴 3x Empanadas per serving (300g)

    Preparation (Cook from frozen)
    Step 1 - Preheat Oven 180°C
    Step 2 - Brush the empanadas with egg yolk*
    Step 3 - Bake on a tray 35-40mins

    *Pantry Essentials:
    🥚 Optional - Egg yolk to brush on empanadas.

    🥗 Best served with a crisp green salad.

    Ingredients: Beef, cumin, capsicum, onion, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, pepper, olives, Flour, Olive Oil, Salt, Water.

    Contains: Gluten and their products including wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt.

Bought these for my husband who is Chilean so we could celebrate Chilean Independence Day in lockdown. It was so tasty, and great portion size. Very clear baking instructions and sturdy packaging. I would love to know the recipe for the dough, was fantastic
