"The only thing better than a hearty meatloaf dinner is the sandwich you can make with the leftovers." Martha Stewart
This classic American meatloaf is cooked to perfection and then quickly grilled in the oven to caramelise the sweet glaze on top.
As an American living in Australia, one of the things I miss most are the classic comfort foods the US is known for. There really is nothing quite like it on these cold days. Meatloaf is a staple in the comfort food recipe book, and it allows you to add in some secret veggies that the kids won't realise just how healthy they're eating.
Wonderful served with green vegetables and mash (or you can buy this complete meal here) or a salad of your choice.
Contains: egg, soybeans and soybean products, cereals containing gluten and their products including wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt (from Worcestershire Sauce)
Ingredients: Onion, Garlic, Carrots, bread crumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, butter salt, parsley, brown sugar, beef mince, egg
Thaw your meatloaf in the fridge. Once defrosted you can portion into pieces and then reheat in the microwave in 1.5 minute intervals or wrap with foil and reheat in a 180 degree pre-heated oven until heated all the way through.
