Malaysian Beef Rendang

Size Guide
Possibly Malaysia's favourite dish, this is a drier-style curry made from succulent chunks of beef and potato cooked in a rich cacophony of flavours including cinnamon, star anise, ginger & coconut. So hearty and satisfying! 
Serving suggestion: Serve with steamed jasmine rice and asian greens. * Rice and greens not included but you can choose to purchase rice separately here
To re-heat:
Defrost in the microwave or overnight in the refrigerator then heat slowly until piping hot.

Yummy yummy yummy

I appreciate how long a rending takes to make and you can tell that Melinda has put a lot of love into this one. Its deliciously complex, melt in the mouth and a great portion size for me and my hungry hubby. We ate it with brown rice and garlic naan. I've ordered it again this week!

Hi Ioulia, we're sorry your experience with our Rendang wasn't perfect. We try to ensure our servings are generous as you would expect home cooked food to be. Our guideline for sizing is 150-200g protein per person and a total of 350-400g in weight per person and this Rendang is served in a 1L container. This was a lovely beef rendang with delicate spices. The serving for 2 was quite generous. Loved it!


Absolutely loved this meal! Meat was so tender and tasty. Great portion size too.

Beautiful Rendang

Really loved this. Rich and warming with beautiful spices. My brother loved it too. He had leftovers for lunch the next day (with some of your jasmine rice). Big hit.
