Litsa's Greek Pastitsio

This was one of the first Greek dishes that my mother taught me to make while we were living in Greece when I was 14 years old. The recipe was handed down from my grandmother who was well known on the island of Kithira for her magnificent traditional Greek dishes.

Litsa's Pastitsio contains layers of pasta and bolognese sauce, generously coated with velvety béchamel sauce and adorned with a finishing touch of finely grated kefalograviera cheese.
