Maurice's Spanakopita (Vg)

A traditional vegetarian Spinach pie. A perfect balance of spinach greens, fresh dill, feta and ricotta mixed with sauteed onions & leek encased in a puff pastry shell.

This is an all time family favourite and is enjoyed all year round. A recipe that has been in our family for generations, we don't really know how far back it goes it has just always been there. The smell wafting through the house as it bakes is such a warm and comforting feeling and smells delicious.

  • Preparation (Cook from frozen):

    1. Preheat Oven 200°C
    2. Remove Lid, cover with Foil
    3. Bake 45mins to 1 hour

    🥗 Traditionally served slightly warmed served with fresh tzatziki 

    Ingredients: Fresh Dill, Silverbeet, Leek, Onion, Baby Spinach, Feta, Ricotta, Eggs, Rice, Puff pastry ( Wheat flour, water, margarine [vegetable oils, water, salt, emulsifiers (471, 322 from soy), antioxidant (307b), and natural colour (160a)], salt, food acid (330).
