The mixture of Thai Jasmine Rice with the Thai Rice Berry which is the long grain rice that has a purplish black color. The purple hue of this rice is caused by anthocyanins, which are a naturally occurring pigment and high antioxidant. Riceberry has a high concentration of beneficial nutrients such as vitamin E, vitamin B1, iron, and omega 3 at much higher levels than in other types of rice.
Being Thai, Rice is a big part of our meal. We love rice so if I’m going to have rice, I may as well eat one that’s as nutrient dense as possible. Also Rice berry has its great fragrance and texture.
Reheating Instructions: Sprinkle a couple of teaspoons of water on top of the rice. Leave one corner of the container open. Heat in microwave for 2 mins. Use fork to mix the rice through, heat for another 2-3 mins until it throughly hot.
