Alessandro's Gnocchi Gorgonzola & Walnut (Vg)

My earliest memories of this Gnocchi dish was when I was little and I used to rush back from school to hang out with my Nonna Lucia. Nonna was always in the kitchen, and making Gnocchi together was our favourite thing to do.

My gorgonzola and walnut sauce is my favourite sauce to serve with Gnocchi. Gorgonzola is a type of Italian blue cheese, it's quite mild and I thin it with cream to make a beautiful flavoured sauce that clings to the Gnocchi perfectly. I use just the right amount of gorgonzola to create the perfect balance.

    Step 1 - Defrost in microwave
    Step 2 - Give it a stir
    Step 3 - Microwave until heated through (approx 3 mins)

    😋 This is a well balanced meal that can be enjoyed on its own or with a fresh salad on the side.

    Ingredients: Potato, Flour, Salt, Thickened cream, Gorgonzola dolce, Californian walnut.

My all time favourite from FoodSt. Delicious and comforting!

What ever could be better than cheese and potatoes anyway. Delicious soft home made gnocchi, with Gorgonzola and walnuts for a yummy crunch. It travels well and easily come back from frozen to delicious. Yum!

Highly recommend thawing out in the fridge overnight before you microwave. Keeps the gnocchi from going mushy. Very very yummy sauce.
